Terms of Service

The service: Love Gathered lets an organizer create a keepsake book by inviting contributors to submit memories, photos, and voice or video recordings, which are designed into a printed book after the organizer's review and approval.

Accounts: organizers create an account to start and manage a book, and are responsible for keeping their sign-in details secure and for activity on their account. Contributors do not need an account.

Who can use Love Gathered: organizers must be 18 or older. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or another adult to add your memory for you.

Payment: the base price is charged when a project is started; if the finished book exceeds the included page count, the additional cost is disclosed and charged separately at approval, before printing.

Content ownership: contributors retain ownership of what they submit, and grant Love Gathered a license to use it solely to create and print that specific book.

Acceptable use: contributors agree not to submit anything illegal, harassing, or that they don't have the right to share.

If something goes wrong: the most we owe for any book is what you paid for it. A book that arrives damaged, or with a printing error that isn't what you approved, is still made right, as our Returns & Refunds page says. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as a book arriving after the party. Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law doesn't allow to be taken away.

Closing an account: you can ask us to close your account at any time through our contact form; for 14 days after that we can restore it if you change your mind. We may close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing illegal or hurtful content, harassing contributors, fraud, or abusing chargebacks. We'll email you first, unless it's urgent or the law says otherwise. If we close an account, any book that hasn't been printed is refunded in full (except when we close it for fraud), and the QR codes in books already printed keep working.

Text messages: Love Gathered LLC sends optional text messages to contributors who expressly opt in using their personal contributor link. Messages include reminders to add their memory and, if separately requested, a link to the finished book.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or participation.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your mobile information.

If we disagree: please contact us first through our contact form, and we'll both try to sort it out within 30 days. If that doesn't work, either of us can take it to small claims court or to the courts of the State of Arizona.

Which laws apply: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, where Love Gathered is registered.

Changes to these terms: we may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service means you accept the current version.
